Wow! What a great site! I've learned so much from this site. Didn't know that excel was this versatile.....

I'm trying to put together a line chart that gets it iformation from cells in another worksheet. The cells are blank, but they have formulas in them getting information from other cells. My problem is this:

The chart still draws the lines of the blank cells. How can I fix this so it only draws when the cell has actual numbers in it only, and not the formulas......

Thanks in advance!

Can Excel fill bagel flavors?
You can teach Excel a new custom list. Type the list in cells, File, Options, Advanced, Edit Custom Lists, Import, OK
Hi - welcome to the board!

All sorts of ways you can alter how excel chart behave in the presence of 'blanks' etc (athough note that formula generated blanks aren't 'blank'!!)

1) change the "" bits in the formula to #NA! - excel wont chart #NA!'s.
2) Select your chart, then go to tools | options | chart tab. Have a play with the various options there.
