Friends,
I have written some macros in VBA of MSProject. I need to create some Excel and Word files from MSProject itself. I know that I need to setup References to object libraries of VBA Extensibility, Excel and Eord libraries and thus these macros work on my machine. My problem is when I ditribute my macros to users who do not understand VBA and are remote. How can I set these references automatically through the install process from MSProject VBA macro?
I install the MSProject macros in the Global.MPT. And these macros do not work until these refernces are setup in the destination machine. Since the users are remote, I need a programmatic or automatic way to do this. is it possible?
Peculiarly, this did not seem to be needed when the user had to open a template MPP file which contained the macros. He could run the macros without setting the tools/references. But when running from Global.MPT, this seems to have become a necessity. Anyone can help?
