Controlling Internet Explorer with VBA from Excel

I use some simple code to control IE, navigate to a page, open it and read the body text. No problem. But if I navigate on from there to a new page on the website, it displays correctly, but the body text is from the original page, not the page being displayed.

Using: MyText = page.Document.body.innerHTML

However, if I open the second page in a new instance of the browser, that works okay.

Anybody got any ideas, please?

BTW, whilst I am not a complete amateur at using VBA to control Excel, this business of controlling another programme just has an enormously steep learning curve. Or is it just me?
