Hello,

I have a pivot table of GL Accounts against monthly spend.

If a GL account has no spend (and is therefore not in the source data) then there is no corresponding row in the pivot table - which is perceived by my users as an error.

What is the best way to display all GL accounts whether or not they have spend data? I have a full list of GL accounts that I need to have showing - is there a way of incorporating this data?

Thanks,

Poiu

Excel Facts

Formula for Yesterday
Name Manager, New Name. Yesterday =TODAY()-1. OK. Then, use =YESTERDAY in any cell. Tomorrow could be =TODAY()+1.
Are all the accounts in the pivot table data but just not for certain months? If so, then there is an property on the pivot field.

pivotfields("Accounts").ShowAllItems = True

If they are not in the data then what I do is in the query to generate the data I do a union that selects all account names and puts a value of 0. Then they will show up.

Is there a way to do "pivotfields("Accounts").ShowAllItems = True" without using VBA? is there a button on the toolbar?

There is a checkbox on field setting "Layout & Print" tab that says "Show items with no data"
