how to remove ALL conversations at once ?
and how to block against conversation possibility?
 
If you click "Selected" at the top right of the conversations list, do you get a toolbar appear ate bottom of the screen?
If so check "Select all" then select "Leave conversations" and Go.

To not accept conversations, in you profile goto Privacy & change the setting for "Start conversations with you"
