Convert a "Time" to a general number

How do you convert a time in a cell to a number - example 16:25 to 1625; OR how do I remove the colon from the time?

Welcome to the board!

You can eliminate the colon from view by custom formatting as hmm (instead of h:mm)

Thanks for the quick response, that changed the view to reflect 1625 however....when I try to copy & paste special value to another cell one column over, it shows the time 16:25 as 0.684028...; I need it be 1625
