Convert date to text with criterias

hi guys..

i hope you could help me to figure it out this my problem,
please check this below :

data	after formula
26/12/2008	2008.12.000026
05/01/1997	1997.01.000005
etc...

<tbody>
</tbody>

criterion :
max len = 14 char
adding/insert mark "."
adding zero number..

for anyone assistance, much appreciated..

Why is it max len = 14 chars? That would indicate that it can also be less than 14?

In your two examples the number of characters is precisely 14. Can you clarify your statement by giving some examples where the length is less than 14?

If you have a real dates in columna A you can use this:

=TEXT(A2,"yyyy.mm.")&"0000"&TEXT(A2,"dd")
