Purpose is to calculate the arrears of gross wage based on a normal working week (of variable hours and minutes).
Time start and finish not required. It is assumed that the week is 5 days long but can be 40 hours, 37hr30mins,35hrs,38hrs,20hrs etc long.
So far can calculate weeks and days.
Problem is converting ?/5 (days) to equal ? many hours and ? minutes in different columns based on the hours worked per week.
Spreadsheet is utilised to enter into a Payment System that does not calculate hours or minutes but requires user input of that data. $calculation of wage is used to compare calculation between Payment system and Excel.
I've done fairly well to get as far as I have but I'll salute an Excel guru who can help with this! I've used NETWORKDAYS to calculate weeks & ?/5 of a week between dates.
