I am trying to convert 021909 to the date format of 02/19/09. However, whenever I try to do this using =Datevalue... or the formatting function in excel, I get the date as 12/25/59. (Note, before I got to 021909, I had to do text to columns on 02190993 to get rid of the two non-essential numbers tacked on to the end. I also formatted the number as custom "000000" so the 0 would appear before the 2).

Please help! I've been trying to find a solution for 1.5 hours! Thank you in advance!

Is there a shortcut key for strikethrough?
Ctrl+S is used for Save. Ctrl+5 is used for Strikethrough. Why Ctrl+5? When you use hashmarks to count |||| is 4, strike through to mean 5.
