I hope this does not stray too far from Excel and get me in trouble, but IMO it's really about Excel. SAP is the inconvenience...
I run a report in background on SAP and the result lets me choose "Graphical", "Raw", or "Hex" mode. For those of you who are familiar, "Graphical" can let me export to Excel but it's not always a spreadsheet the way a "Convert to XXL" button would have made it. Instead, it's like a giant picture made of | and _ . "Raw" and "Hex" converts into Excel as gibberish, like ##$a1###.....
I'm wondering if it's possible to translate the "Raw" or "Hex" stuff into a proper Excel spreadsheet.
BTW, I did look around SAP forums but it's mostly programming talk within the ABAP language, which is something I have absolutely no access to as a user. I figured there's got to be Excel users in this forum who use SAP.
