I have
="=Sheet1!B" & (QUOTIENT(ROW(), 5) + 1) in the formula bar
=Sheet1!B2
is displayed in the cell

I want the formula bar to show the current result displayed in the cell or the formula bar to display an actual formula that will yield a correct result in the cell

In other words the formula bar should show something similar to: =Sheet1!B" & (QUOTIENT(ROW(), 5) + 1)
And the cell should return the result of that formula, in this case: Quotient Test #1

What the heck am I doing wrong? Besides the obvious ="= in the formula bar. How do I make the guts of that a formula?

Excel Facts

Add Bullets to Range
Select range. Press Ctrl+1. On Number tab, choose Custom. Type Alt+7 then space then @ sign (using 7 on numeric keypad)
You don't just mean this do you ?
Excel Formula:
=INDIRECT("Sheet1!B" & (QUOTIENT(ROW(), 5) + 1))
