Excel Facts

Ambidextrous Undo
Undo last command with Ctrl+Z or Alt+Backspace. If you use the Undo icon in the QAT, open the drop-down arrow to undo up to 100 steps.
Highlight what cells you want set as date, right click, choose " Format Cells ", choose far left tab, go down and choose "Date ", on the right choose which way you want it laid out, click OK...

Is there text in that cell with the date...?
Also, could you delete that column and insert a new one..?
