Hello Excel Gurus,

If TODAY() = 44176 then how do I convert this into a date value. For instance current date only which is "11" as in 11th of December, 2020.
But I just want to extract 11 from 44176. Also I am not looking to simply format the cell but to actually derive a date number via formula from excel's date number.

Is it possible with some sort of formula? How does excel convert that number into a date?

Thanks and will appreciate.
