I apologize if this has been asked before, I tried searching this forum for a solution but nothing seems to be exactly what I'm looking for.

I have the following text string ="PROJECTED BALANCE AT "&B19

Cell B19 contains the date that I want inserted into this text string. However, Excel is converting that date into a number when inserted into the text string formula. How do I convert it back to a date?

Excel Facts

Lock one reference in a formula
Need 1 part of a formula to always point to the same range? use $ signs: $V$2:$Z$99 will always point to V2:Z99, even after copying

Hi & welcome to MrExcel.
How about
Excel Formula:
="PROJECTED BALANCE AT "&TEXT(B19,"dd/mm/yyyy")
just change the format to suit
