Maesters,
I have a field with 00:35 in it. I tried converting it to number format in Format Cells but it won't change regardless. The only thing I could do was to 1- (1- referenced cell) to convert it to number format. I'm not even sure if the conversion is accurate. Thanks in advance!

What is =ROMAN(40) in Excel?
The Roman numeral for 40 is XL. Bill "MrExcel" Jelen's 40th book was called MrExcel XL.
Hi yxz152830,

Excel holds time as a fraction of a day so you can use VALUE to convert to its internal representation. You can multiply by 1440 to get minutes (60 minutes x 24 hours a day) or multiply by 24 to get decimal hours.
