I have been trying to write a macro that will copy cells A8:Y28 go down 35 cells and paste it. I would like to paste based on a variable. So if cell a1 has a 5 in it I would like to copy and paste 4 times. Hope that makes sense, thanks

Excel Facts

Pivot Table Drill Down
Double-click any number in a pivot table to create a new report showing all detail rows that make up that number
"copy cells A8:Y28 go down 35 cells and paste it."

if it is only one row to be copied why not do it manually

second question:

"f cell a1 has a 5 in it I would like to copy and paste 4 times."

copy which cells or rows to be copied? is the same row to be copied four times?

clarify with examples
