Ok here is my situation: I now have a nice spreadsheet made up to do quoatations for my clients. This quotation also holds my Parts database which is fairly huge. The total spreadsheet filesize is 4,000kB. When I have finished my quote, I want to save just the quote section under a new workbook named after the client. My problem is, alot of my quotation relies on formulas linked to my parts database which I don't want to have saved when I rename and save just the quote under a seperate file.. I have been using the "copy or move sheet " command and it works but when I open the standalone, all the values that were formula base are N/As or something. Is there a way to make all the formula based cells become true value so that I may save it independantly??

Excel Facts

Excel Can Read to You
Customize Quick Access Toolbar. From All Commands, add Speak Cells or Speak Cells on Enter to QAT. Select cells. Press Speak Cells.
After you have copied the sheet, right click the grey box at the intersection of the row and column headings and choose Copy. Right click again and choose Paste Special, check Values and click OK.

I have done something similar , (Maybe not the cleanest) with first saving your complete worksheet....second copying the range of data that you wish to convert to values and using copy...special paste... values, and third saving that converted range into a new workbook.

hope this helps
