Does anyone know how to copy/paste a cell containing multiple fonts and keep it that way without having to reformat the newly pasted cell?

Example:

  • I have a cell with bulleted text (the bullets were created using a Wingdings font, the rest of the text is regular Arial)
    • I'd like to copy the cell to another sheet but pasting as Values generates all the content as Arial
    • If I then re-paste on top of the new cell as Paste Special>Formats, then it makes everything Wingdings.
Any idea on how to paste these cells and keep all the formatting?

Note: upgrading is not an option, recreating in Word not an option. Yes, I know this isn't what Excel should be used for but it's just how it is for this particular project.

Why can't you just Paste normally? Why do a Paste Special?

Wow. Feeling so much shame right now, can't even tell you. Thanks Starl. I suppose I'm so used to Edit>Paste Special that I've forgotten to start simple.

Let the flogging commence.
