Hi all, Im trying to create a fully automated document tracking index.
I have 2 sheets

Sheet 1 (Items in columns A, C, D are hyperlinked to pdf files):
File NameDateDrawing NumberRev
025510-011_D.pdf2/5/2011025510-011A
025510-100_A.pdf17/11/2011025510-100A
025510-100_B.pdf18/11/2011025510-100B

Sheet 2:
Drawing NumberRevRev
02510-011A
02510-100AB

I have got the items in column A (no hyperlinks req'd), but I cant get the Rev columns to come over with hyperlinks.
The Rev columns in sheet 2 may contain letters and numbers and continue indefinitely.
I have exhausted my knowledge in vba I think, and Im going to need some help.
Thanks in advance

Excel Facts

How to fill five years of quarters?
Type 1Q-2023 in a cell. Grab the fill handle and drag down or right. After 4Q-2023, Excel will jump to 1Q-2024. Dash can be any character.
Ive looked at pivot tables, but can't get the hyperlinks to copy.
Still looking for some suggestions.

Ok, im slowly getting somewhere. What ive managed to do is to get my rev column to sort with alphabet before numbers, using a macro.

Now, my next idea is to transfer (copy) my rev column to a row, but "rotate" the items from the top of where the rev string starts. as below

initial revs in column
COL.A COL.B
drg1 A
drg1 B
drg1 C
drg1 0
drg1 1
drg1 2
drg2 A
drg2 B
drg2 C
drg2 0
drg2 1
drg2 2

-----------
new revs in rows
COL.A COL.B--->
drg1 A B C 0 1 2
drg1
drg1
drg1
drg1
drg1
drg2 A B C 0 1 2
drg2
drg2
drg2
drg2
drg2

I hope somebody can help.
