copy conditional format to cells with data

I am modifying a sheet for someone, I want to copy paste a conditional format to around 250 cells but they all have data in them and I dont want to erase that data?

Click in a cell with the CF, click the Format Painter (paintbrush icon) then select the cells to apply the CF format to.
