Hello. Thank you for your support!

I have a list of data (tasks) that are assigned to specific individuals. I then has a sheet per individual.
I would like the task to be accomplished copied/filtered to the sheet for the individual selected.

This below is a secondary request that is not required, but would be nice.
Then, in their sheet, they have a drop down for if that task has been accomplished. They have a simple Yes/no drop down.
I would like that to be copied back to the main sheet for each task.

I have tried to convince my boss that there are better ToDo apps that are more tailored to this type of task, but he is set on using excel.

I have included an image of a sample excel file with manually moved data to show what I am trying to do. I keep trying different methods and keep failing.

Excel Facts

Lock one reference in a formula
Need 1 part of a formula to always point to the same range? use $ signs: $V$2:$Z$99 will always point to V2:Z99, even after copying
I would think on the sheet named "Main List
When you double click on the Task in Column A
A sheet Double click script would run when you Double click on the Task.
The script would copy that Task to the sheet name in Colum B
It would copy it to the same row on the sheet name.
And on the sheet Named Sally when that same cell on the sheet
Was double clicked on that cells Result of Yes or No would be entered On the main sheet same Row column C
Would something like that work?

You would need to make all sheets with the proper names

And give me the exact name of the Master sheet.
I believe you showed: "Main List"
Is that exactly correct

You said:

Yes that would work.

If this will work for you let me know in your next posting

Thank you so much for the reply. My apologies for my delay in responding.
I was able to get the answer on another forum and it is working swimmingly. I am happy to share if anyone is interested.
