Hi,

I am new and have no experience in VBA, but I needed some help over here.

I will have 2 workbooks. One is my daily report based on dates (E.g 2011-06-01.xls; 2011-06-02.xls; 2011-06-03.xls). The other workbook is my working template.

In my working template workbook, there is a drop-down list for user to select the date. Once user has done so, the data from the daily report will copy all data into the working template.

For e.g: User selects date: 2011-06-01. The data in 2011-06-01.xls will automatically copy into the working template.

May I know how do I go about doing so?

Thank you in advance!

You can teach Excel a new custom list. Type the list in cells, File, Options, Advanced, Edit Custom Lists, Import, OK
