Hi

I have created some charts and pivots on a workbook with all formatting etc

I want copy and move these sheet to my dashboard workbook but everything still points to the old workbook and charts and formula are linked to that

how do I change the link to the workbook I’m copying to ensuring the charts are pointing to this workbook without affecting the chart formatting etc?

Excel Facts

Move date out one month or year
Use =EDATE(A2,1) for one month later. Use EDATE(A2,12) for one year later.
save your original book as the new one and delete what you don't need ? that was you have two copies

The dashboard workbook is named Overall Dashboard

There are 3 sheets i need to cop to the dashboard workbook that has charts, linked cells, pivots etc

Following your steps would mean i got 2 workbooks the same name - not sure im following exactly what you mean - sorry

save the original with a slightly different name. getting the whole lot across into a new book to get what you have dosen't make sense

Sorry what i mean is that

i need to copy just 3 sheets from a workbook to my dashboard workbook
i have created the charts, links etc on this workbook so i dont wnt to redo them
when i cooy these 3 sheets to the dashboard workbook - the cell refrences point to the other file - not dashboard file

i hope this makes sense

perfect sense, but i don't know how to repair all the broken links to make sure you continue to have a working book, hence duplicating into a new workbook and deleting everything but the three and charts
