Hi,
I wanted to know if anyone knew of a way to copy and move a tab in an excel file on my computer to an excel file within Microsoft Teams?
Thanks
Dan

Excel Facts

What is the fastest way to copy a formula?
If A2:A50000 contain data. Enter a formula in B2. Select B2. Double-click the Fill Handle and Excel will shoot the formula down to B50000.
If you open the destination file from Teams in the App, you should be able to do it the same way you would any other Excel file.

I want to move a tab from an excel file on my desktop to the excel file inside teams. Normally I would open excel on my desktop, right click on a tab and select move or copy then select the name of the file to move to however since the file is in teams that option doesn't show up? Hope that makes sense?

Follow the screenshot above to open the file from Teams by choosing "Open in app"
Open the file from your desktop.
You should be able to see the Teams file now as a destination for your copy/move.
Once the worksheet is copied/moved, save the Teams file and close it out. The next time you view the file in Teams your changes should be there.
