I need to copy a chart with a large number of formulas from one workbook and paste it into another. I want the formulas to pull from the NEW workbook, but the references are for the original workbook. I know it is possible to do this, but I'm not sure how. I'd appreciate any help!

Can you AutoAverage in Excel?
There is a drop-down next to the AutoSum symbol. Open the drop-down to choose AVERAGE, COUNT, MAX, or MIN
Hello and welcome to the board! Here's one way:

In the original workbook, do a find and replace. You want to find all of the = and replace them with ` (the tilde mark on the top left area of most keyboards, typically to the left of the 1 key).

Then copy the sheet to your new workbook. On your new workbook, do a find a replace again, this time finding ` and replacing it with =. This will move the formulas over to the new workbook without creating the reference to the old workbook.

Hope that makes sense..good luck!
