I am trying to copy/paste a formula, but it changes the cell numbers consecutively. Is there a way to do it with out it changing? =SUMIF(C13:P42,"*A*",C14:P26) after I copy/paste it changes to =SUMIF(C14:P43,"*A*",C15:P27).

Using Function Arguments with nested formulas
If writing INDEX in Func. Arguments, type MATCH(. Use the mouse to click inside MATCH in the formula bar. Dialog switches to MATCH.
I think you should be able to use =SUMIF(C$13:P$42,"*A*",C$14:P$26) if you just want the row numbers to stay the same. The $ makes whatever reference is immediately after it remain the same. If you copy the formula to the right or left, though, the column reference will change unless you put $ before the letter.
