Copy & paste Macro

Hi Members, I'm not sure if this is possible i've just started playing around with Excel, im trying to figure out if i can create a macro to copy & paste a formula in a single column cell by cell very basic this is as far as I have got...
Sub Macro1()
Range("E1").Select
Selection.Copy
Range("E2").Select
ActiveSheet.Paste

Application.CutCopyMode = False
Which is not very useful to me I was hoping to run 1 macro to copy Range E1 E2, E2 E3,
E4 E5, E6 E7 and so on. I may be asking too much. I'm using 07 Thanks.

Hi,

Do you want to:
copy E1:E2 paste into E2
copy E2:E3 paste into E3
copy E3:E4 paste into E4

etc.

Are the cell values or formula?

Hi Danny, Yes E1:E2 paste into E2 etc cells are formula.

Sub TEST()
Dim n as Long
For n = 1 to 7
Range(cells(n,5),cells(n+1,5)).Copy Destination:= cells(n+1,5)
Next n
End Sub

Hi njimack, no joy, copies cell1 to all cells in column
