In a workbook I am creating Sheet 1 contains entries for each day of the year. I am looking for a way to Copy & Paste every 40th cell in a column & paste them into a column on Sheet 2 without haveing to do each one seperately. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks

Excel Facts

How to total the visible cells?
From the first blank cell below a filtered data set, press Alt+=. Instead of SUM, you will get SUBTOTAL(9,)

How about:

Dim mycount as Integer, i as Integer

For i = 1 to (how ever many rows you've got)
Worksheet("Sheet1").activate
myrow = 40*1
cells(myrow, whatever column you want).select
Selection.Copy
Worksheets("Sheet2").activate
Cells(i,whatever column you want).select
selection.paste
next i
