copy paste problem

Dear All,

facing a small problem while copying the data and pasting on another file.

The file on which i am pasting has some columns hidden , while pasting the data some of its get pasted the hidden column. i want to paste the data only on the visible columns.

any help would highly appreciable.

Either break the copy paste into chunks - or - insert columns into the data you are copying from - then paste special ignoring blanks

Thanx Makrini for your suggestion, but is there any other alternative wherein the data can be pasted directly to the visible column.
