Hi,

I am not sure if what I need to do is possible but I'm sure if it is one/many of you Excel geniuses will know how to do it, you've never let me down before. I've tried to play around with IF formulas, VLOOKUPS and queries but I am not good with the latter two so had no luck.

I want to copy all rows to a new sheet within the same workbook if a name appears more than a certain amount of times. At the moment the magic number is 7 but it will probably reduce in future but I am hoping if it is possible even I can work out where to change that part. If a name appears 7 or more times in the second column I want to copy the entire row to the first available row on a different tab. Any ideas on how/if this would be possible? If it's VBA then I apologise but I am a total novice, so you may have to dumb it down to the maximum. :(

I have removed some of the confidential, irrelevant data from the table below and changed the names so I don't get myself in trouble but it still portrays what I want to do (just with less columns).

Just a quick question or two to try clarifying what you're asking, I'm going to try helping but not sure how much I can truly provide.
I think this will have to be done via VBA.

If the name in Column B appears more than 7 times, do you want each instance to be copied over or do you want it to just be copied over once? Furthermore, do you want to know how many times it has been copied over? This is important info for us to know to try helping you achieve a solution.

Ahh apologies. Either way would work if one is easier than the other. If it copied each instance it wouldn't need a count but if it were to only copy one then a count would be handy, but not necessarily essential.

I know my answer wasn't exactly specific but as long as the name is there at least once with all the data from one row I can work with it
