I have a table with a list of names going across the top, I need to dulpicate these names in another table, in the same order, but as a column.

Is there a quick way of doing this?

Excel Facts

Wildcard in VLOOKUP
Use =VLOOKUP("Apple*" to find apple, Apple, or applesauce
It worked fine on my names. I also need to do the same in the next coloumn but with a sum of money (wages to be paid). When I try to do the same with the numbers I get #ref

I was hoping for something like (forgive my noob language) =a1 which I can then drag over the whole area as names will sometimes change, and amounts will change daily.

You could play with offset
=OFFSET('Other Sheet'!$A$1, column()-1, row()-1)

Might need some tweaking though

I'm guessing the amounts have formulas.

Try selecting the 'values' option when using 'transpose'
