Hi everyone,

Can anyone tell me why when I copy and paste a drawing object (like an arrow), it doesn't paste where I have the cursor pointed. Instead it pastes wherever it wants on the spreadsheet...sometimes several columns or rows beyond what is viewed on the screen. It's driving me crazy  ... is there some trick to copying and pasting a drawing object exactly where you want it pasted? Thanks!

Excel Facts

What is the last column in Excel?
Excel columns run from A to Z, AA to AZ, AAA to XFD. The last column is XFD.
Hi,

This is depending on the activecell and the "topleftcell".

arrow going from C8 to F4 topleftcell will be C4
Copy arrow select D10: arrow will be pasted at D14:G10

alternative: hold Control while moving the original object: you can see where it will be pasted while moving

That's how it works for me.

kind regards,
Erik
