Hi all.

Apologies if my question seems basic I am an Excel beginner and do a lot of Google searches to find answers.

I have a cell in Column V in which you can select from a list. The list choices are "Underway" "Overdue" Completed" and "n/a" . When the Cell in Column V is selected it's formatting changes depending on selection.

I use the following conditional formatting to rules to achieve this.

My problem is that I now have to do this for every single row and I wanted to know how I can copy this formatting for every row using the corresponding cell in column V for each row.

Much thanks in advance
Nikos

Excel Facts

Remove leading & trailing spaces
Save as CSV to remove all leading and trailing spaces. It is faster than using TRIM().
For the formulae use =$V9 rather than =$V$9 and change the applies to range to =$A$9:$U$100 or whatever range you want.
