In cell D2, I am able to input formula: B2/B95 (B95 is the total of column B) & get the correct calculation.
When I click on the lower right corner of cell D2, I get the same information in D3, rather than B3/B95.
I can't seem to get the formula to carry on down column D. Why is that?

make sure that it has no dollar signs at the B2 reference and that it does have dollar signs at the B95 reference.

Check and make sure calculation is set to automatic.

In Excel 2007 and later:

Formulas tab>Calculation>Calculation Options>Automatic

All other versions of Excel:

Tools>Options>Calculation tab>Automatic>OK

I do have an = sign at the front of the formula.
Also have tried using dollar sign - not helping.
Plus, now the cells in column D are showing me the formula, but not the result. Someone indicated it might be something w/Formula Auditing?

Plus, now the cells in column D are showing me the formula, but not the result.
That usually means the cells are formatted as TEXT.

With the formula entered in the cell:
  • Change the cell format to General
  • Hit function key F2
  • Hit Enter

I've tried:
Pressing F9

And
Change the cell format to General
Hit function key F2
Hit Enter

And since have Excel 2007, made sure calculation is set to automatic by going to: Formulas tab>Calculation>Calculation Options>Automatic

Cell still shows =B2/$B$95 even after I have pressed enter to get out of the cell.
Any other suggestions?
