Copying Formulas Without including Hidden Rows

I am working on an excel spreadsheet and am trying to figure out the following:

I want to copy a formula down one column. However, i have hidden rows in that column which i don't want the formula to copy to. I only want the formula to copy to rows which are showing and not hidden. I can't figure out a way to do this. Please help. Thanks.

The =SQRT(25) is a square root. For a cube root, use =125^(1/3). For a fourth root, use =625^(1/4).
Add the "Select Visible Cells" function to your toolbar (Tools > Customize > select the edit category, find the button and drag it to your toolbar). Highlight your range, push the Select Visible Cells button, right click, paste special, formulas, OK.
