I am using Excel for Kpi's and I have one sheet that has 8 rows on sheet A that need to be referenced to one row on sheet B, The next 8 rows on Sheet A need to reference the next row on sheet B.... so on and so forth, excel is not noticing the pattern when I try to drag it down or using paste/paste special, Any Suggestions? There are 120 8 line segments and I dont want to manually input:confused:

Welcome to the board...

Try

=INDEX(SheetB!A:A,INT((ROWS(A$1:A1)-ROW(A$1))/8)+1)

The 8 of coarse is how many rows per group.

the +1 is the starting row # on SheetB
