I have one workbook with a bunch of named ranges. I want to consolidate this into another workbook. When I copy the sheet with the named ranges onto a newly created worksheet in the larger workbook, the named ranges don't copy over. How do I do this?

Thanks,

Jeff

Jeff, don't copy the cell ranges over to the new sheet if you want to keep the named ranges. Copy the sheet over.

eg
Sheets("Sheet1").Copy After:=Workbooks("MyBook").Sheets(3)

If you must copy it this way then dynamically add the named ranges.

Hi ya, the easiest way is to copy the sheet. Have both workbooks open then right-click the sheet you want to copy and select Move or Copy.

Make sure you check the copy box and then select your other workbook from the "to Book" drop down.This creates a direct copy including named ranges.

cheers
