Hello there
My problem is when I copy two worksheets (one worksheet contains the source data, the other a pivot table) from workbook 1 to a new workbook 2, the copy seems to work fine. But in workbook 2, when I make changes to the source data, the pivot table worksheet in workbook 2 does not seem to refresh when I click the refresh button. Any way around this?
thx
Steve

Waterfall charts in Excel?
Office 365 customers have access to Waterfall charts since late 2016. They were added to Excel 2019.
When you copy a chart or pivot table to a different location, it will still reference the original data table. You will have to change the source or rebuild the chart or pivot table.

To change the reference in a pivot table:
Right click the table, choose Pivot table wizard,
Click "Back" to get to step 2.
Edit the sheetname portion of the "Range" reference.
example:
Change "Sheet1!$A$1:$B$25" to "Sheet2!$A$1:$B$25"
Click Finish to save changes.

Thanks John

I was thinking that was probably the only answer, I was trying to avoid having to manually change the reference through the Pivot Wizard, but apparently that is my only option!
