I have an excel worksheet which I use as a template in a workbook. Each week I copy the sheet and rename it. It has now been copied 25 times. Is there a limit on copying sheets because this sheet will not copy anymore.

Excel Facts

Will the fill handle fill 1, 2, 3?
Yes! Type 1 in a cell. Hold down Ctrl while you drag the fill handle.
What you are getting while copying 26th time?

Nothing. The sheet which I call BLANK does nothing. It used to become BLANK (2) and I would then change the name to the current weekending.

I see. I am not sure. As far as I know 25 times copying should not be the problem.

You should be able to copy more than 25 times but you may not be able to display all these tabs at the same time....it has probably copied but not visible.

try using the arrow keys next to your tabs at the bottom of your worksheet to display more sheets unti you display the one you want

Thank you Gnada and Chef,

In the project window of VBE there are only 25 copies However, the project window looks like a large triangle starting with the first copy extending out and down to 25
