Hi All;
Hoping someone can give some guidance on copying sheets to a new book. I've crafted 2 tabs that will serve as templates, these 2 tabs will be dropped into roughly 60 different workbooks and interact with the data in those workbooks. Meaning that each workbook will use the 2 template tabs individually, there won't be any linking between the books once the templates are active.
Anyways, the question. These 2 template tabs are loaded with named cells and formulae. Is there an easy way to get these 2 tabs into different workbooks along with the formulae and point the formulae to the new workbook instead of referencing the master file I have created?
For example, each of the 60 books I'm referring to have a tab called "Allocation" and a named range in that tab called "Current_Period_End". When I dump my template tab in the link drags to the master workbook's Allocation tab instead of the current workbook. Is there an easy way to change?
Further, when I drop the other template tab in with named ranges, the workbook I'm copying into doesn't recognize the names. What's the reasoning behind this? Is there an easy way to get the receiving workbook to recognize the pasted in named ranges?
Thanks in advance,
Derek
