Copying to another workbook

I have entries in a workbook that I can filter and copy to another workbook to reformat. Some of the columns on the first workbook use a VLOOKUP formula to get info. Whenever I try to copy info that hasn't been filtered from row 2 ( row 1 is headers) on down or filter that included row 2 it will not copy the columns with the VLOOKUP. I need the formula to stay with it and not just copy cell w/out the function. I hope this makes sense. thanks

Hello,

Sorry, copying a filtered range converts functions to values.

But you can repopulate the Function manually or with VBA.

Ok, I was a bit off and I appologize. When filtered the VLOOKUP columns do come out as values but when I copy starting with row 2 and there is unfiltered info then the funcion copies with it. I know I can copy the info as all values but there are some rows with conditional formatting that I want to stay with it instead of reformatting after I copy. Is that clear. can I get around this with info copied that includes that first row of info. thanks for the help.
