Copying worksheets in Excel and having hyperlinks from master worksheet refer to new (copied) worksheet.

"I have put together a master sheet I would like to duplicate multiple times. The master sheet has multiple hyperlinks that refer to cells within the master sheet. (Example: When you click on N 1571 it will go to B 10.) When I copy the sheet the hyperlinks links within the new sheet refer back to the master sheet. How can I get the Hyperlink to reference the new sheet cells with out having to reconfigure every link? I have tried to name the cell and then changed the hyperlink to jump to the named range but I get the same results when I copy to a new sheet it refers back to the named cell on the master."

This question was posted before, but I could not find the answer. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It should work if you have created the named ranges with workbook scope. The moment that worksheet is copied, the named ranges on the new worksheet get automatically worksheet scope and are limited to that new worksheet. Your hyperlinks to such named ranges on the same worksheet are therefore also limited to that worksheet.

It should work if you have created the named ranges with workbook scope. The moment that worksheet is copied, the named ranges on the new worksheet get automatically worksheet scope and are limited to that new worksheet. Your hyperlinks to such named ranges on the same worksheet are therefore also limited to that worksheet.

Actually it's on default, unless you're overriding it using the Name Manager on Formulas tab on the Ribbon ...

On default using the name box:

Override using Name Manager:
