Count blank cells in a column

I have two sheets.Sheet one has the total values of Sheet 2.
I want to do a check if cell in column A (sheet 2) has a value to check if the corresponding B (sheet2) cell has a value. And give me a 'countblank' for the blank B(Sheet2) cells. and Insert this value in a cell (C3) in Sheet 1.
