count cells by date

Hello guys:)
I have a sheet where I place orders and enter a date for the order. How can I calculate all orders by month. I have a column called "entered date" where I'm looking to count all the orders from that column by month. Thanks

Hi nikko50

If you search the board for countif or sumproduct you should find many articles on the use of these functions for achieving this type of thing. I can recomend any by Aladin - as from my browsing - he is the Sumproduct-Meister.
