I have a worksheet with a 9 column 9 row grid, I conditional formatted this grid to color the cell of the lowest value in each column. However if there are 2 lowest values the same column no cell is colored, the formula I used there is =AND(J10=MIN(J$10:J$18),SMALL(J$10:J$18,2)<>J10) What I'm trying to do now is get a count of those colored cells and store that value in another cell to be used further down the worksheet. is there any way to accomplish this? Thanks in advance. ~Bob

What does custom number format of ;;; mean?
Three semi-colons will hide the value in the cell. Although most people use white font instead.

Aside from the conditional formatting, it sounds like you need a count of occurrences of the smallest value in the column.

=+COUNTIF(J10:J18,MIN(J10:J18))

Actually all that formula does is tell me the occurrences of the lowest value in column J. What I'm looking for in the grid (J10:R18}, the conditional formatting will highlight the lowest values that aren't repeated in color, I need a count of those colored cells.
