Count data items and display highest item

Hi There,

I have a sheet with columns A to D, and from row 2 downwards, each column contains up to 150 text values.

What I need is to display in row 1 of each column the value that appears the most in each of the four columns (I'm not interested in the actual count). If there is a "tie" for the highest count then display any one of the tied values (if it is easier, the first one alphabeticaly would be fine) - Any ideas where I start?
