Hello I have two columns of drop down lists with 5 options in each list- LIST1 (apple,orange,banana...) and the second list LIST2(a, b , c...)
I want to count when one option from the first list matches for option from the second list.
For example if I chose Banana from list 1 and a from list 2 I should get 1.
then Again I chose banana from list 3 and a from list 4 now it should be 2 and so on.
But if he chose Banana from list 1 and c from list 2 it shouldn't count.
Hope you understand me and you have a solution.
THANKS

Do you hate GETPIVOTDATA?
Prevent GETPIVOTDATA. Select inside a PivotTable. In the Analyze tab of the ribbon, open the dropown next to Options and turn it off
Here is the picture of what I did

I want that if in row 2 LIST1 is Banana and LIST2 is c count 1
If also in row 4 LIST1 is banana and LIST2 is c the value of the counter should be 2 now and so on
