Excel Facts

Which lookup functions find a value equal or greater than the lookup value?
MATCH uses -1 to find larger value (lookup table must be sorted ZA). XLOOKUP uses 1 to find values greater and does not need to be sorted.
Here is a vba solution for you.

Code:
Option Explicit

Sub ashraf()
    Dim i As Long, lr As Long, x As Long
    lr = Range("A" & Rows.Count).End(xlUp).Row
    Application.ScreenUpdating = False
    x = 1
    For i = 3 To lr
        If Range("A" & i) = Range("A2") Then
            x = x + 1
        End If
    Next i
    Range("B2").Value = x
    Application.ScreenUpdating = True
End Sub
