Having 2 reports. In both reports there is a textbox in footer with the formula: =count(*)

In the customer reports it counts all customers.

In product report it returns #Error.

What can be the source for this error.

(In detail section 7 product are listed with some stacked fields for each)

Just in a general way if you used a actual field rather than an asterisk it might help in figuring out what's going on.
For instance, =Count([ProductID]) instead of =Count(*)
this would make it easier to first be specific about what you are counting, and secondly whether it is an available field to count or not. Generally, I would expect it to work if it is in your record source for the report. But not all reports have record sources, and it is possible to combine data from many sources in one report...

Record source would be part of the report properties (so generally, with the report in design view you will view property information displaying the property dialog which normally is visible but might need to be made visible by find it in the view menu or right-clicking on the report and looking for an option that says properties).
