I have in a column 300 rows each row with other numbers for example "a1" 2 "a2" 4 I need to know how many "2" i have, Is there a way.

P.S. I don't want to change the sort

Please help

=COUNTIF(A:A,2)to count the number of 2's in column A.

It should work. See Example. Note that it is not case sensitive.
